So I just realized a new oxymoron in my life. I am cooking a microwavable dinner in the oven. Why do things taste better when they are cooked in the oven? We need a new method of quick cooking that keeps taste and texture.

Toaster Oven?

i have a theory that i like to believe is correct and it's partly science based. (yes i am taking this question completely seriously.)

microwaves work by vibrating water molecules rapidly back and forth causing them to steam and heat up the food in which they lie. a side effect of this method of heating is that the water is completely removed from said meal and never reaches a temperature of more than 212 degrees F. in the over however, everything is heated equally by the heat surrounding it and not from the water within. since the moisture is evaporated in a much more normal way at proper cooking temperatures than it is in a microwave, i believe that whatever item you are eating will remain juicier and more flavorful. those are just my thoughts though.
